About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Sales Director to lead our retail operations in Europe. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail management, with a proven track record in area sales management and team leadership.

The Sales Director will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing Retail Operations - Ensuring that our retail stores are well-managed and meet performance targets.
  • Analyzing Sales Data - Interpreting sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and areas for improvement.
  • Executing Brand Standards - Ensuring consistent execution of brand standards and exceptional customer service across all locations.
  • Building Relationships - Building and maintaining strong relationships with retail partners, particularly Sephora, to drive collaboration and mutual success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Developing Retail Strategies - Developing and executing retail strategies aligned with the company's overall objectives.
  • Collaborating with Cross-Functional Teams - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align retail initiatives with marketing, merchandising, and product strategies.
  • Leading the Retail Team - Recruiting, training, and developing high-performing retail teams, and leading, managing, and mentoring the retail team across multiple regions in Europe.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Business - A master's degree from a reputable business school.
  • 5+ Years of Retail Experience - A minimum of 5 years' experience in retail management, with a strong emphasis on area sales management and team leadership.
  • Experience with Sephora - Experience working at or with Sephora or a similar retail environment is required.
  • Strong Analytical Skills - Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
  • Excellent Communication Skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluent English - Fluent English is essential. Multilingual skills, including French, German, Italian, or Spanish, are desirable.
