Senior Enterprise Sales Director, Southern Europe

Guidewire Software, Inc. is seeking a highly experienced Senior Enterprise Sales Director to lead our Southern European sales efforts. This role will be responsible for driving revenue growth, building strategic relationships with key clients, and developing a high-performing sales team.

About the Role

This is a senior-level sales leadership position that requires a proven track record of success in enterprise software sales, with a strong focus on complex core applications. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the insurance industry, a passion for driving business growth, and the ability to inspire and lead a high-performing sales team.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Recruit, onboard, coach, and manage a team of top-performing sales executives to drive revenue growth and meet or exceed sales targets.
  2. Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to drive revenue growth, expand market share, and build strong relationships with key clients.
  3. Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at client organizations, including CIOs, CTOs, and business leaders.
  4. Develop and deliver compelling sales pitches, presentations, and proposals to clients and prospects.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, marketing, and customer success, to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction.
  6. Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform sales strategies and tactics.
Requirements
  1. 15+ years of experience in enterprise software sales, with a strong focus on complex core applications.
  2. Proven track record of success in driving revenue growth, building strong relationships with clients, and leading high-performing sales teams.
  3. Deep understanding of the insurance industry, including the business needs, challenges, and trends.
  4. Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team of sales executives.
  5. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  6. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
