Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our restaurant. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the front-of-house and back-of-house staff, ensuring that the restaurant operates smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise the daily operations of the restaurant, including managing staff and ensuring smooth operations.
- Ensure that guests receive excellent service, addressing any complaints or concerns as needed.
- Train, develop, and motivate the restaurant staff, setting performance goals and providing regular feedback.
- Manage inventory, ordering, and storage of all restaurant supplies, including food, beverages, and equipment.
- Monitor food quality and presentation, ensuring that all dishes are prepared according to company standards.
- Coordinate with the Restaurant Manager and other department heads to ensure that all aspects of the restaurant operation are aligned with the overall goals of the resort.
- Maintain proper staffing levels, scheduling staff as needed to ensure adequate coverage.
- Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed in the restaurant, including proper food handling and sanitation procedures.
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory role in a restaurant or other food and beverage establishment.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both guests and staff.
- Knowledge of proper food handling and sanitation procedures.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Good understanding of customer service principles and practices.
- Proficiency in English.
