Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Strategic Partnerships Lead to join our EMEA team at Deezer SA. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving growth and revenue for our partners in the EMEA region.

You will develop and execute a growth strategy for your partner portfolio, manage relationships with internal and external teams, and ensure alignment with our overall company strategy.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building strong relationships with senior executives at leading brands in the telecom, digital media, streaming, gaming, consumer electronics, and connected technology industries.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and execute a detailed strategy to grow subscribers, revenue, and margins for your accounts.
  2. Build strong relationships with Partners in various companies, securing alignment across objectives, performance, resourcing, growth plans, and renewals.
  3. Regularly provide actionable insights, growth and optimization recommendations to Partners.
  4. Mobilize internal stakeholders to support Partnerships and keep them informed of key information.
  5. Be the internal expert on contractual commitments, deadlines, marketing activities, to ensure Partner and Deezer compliance with the agreements.
  6. Manage complex contract negotiations with partners and all key stakeholders involved with or affected by Partnerships projects.
Requirements:
  1. 6-8+ years of international and intercultural work experience in Strategic Partnerships or Business Development in media, telecommunications, VOD, consumer electronics, gaming, and/or retail.
  2. Experience and ease with meeting and exceeding revenue and other commercial targets.
  3. A high level of executive presence and a proven track record of managing relationships for strategic partners, exceeding business goals, and managing complex multi-million euro deals.
  4. Excellent communication skills in both spoken and written English. Business fluency in other languages is a plus.
  5. A consistently strong performer who is autonomous and able to demonstrate rigorous prioritisation skills.
  6. A hands-on, can-do attitude with a pragmatic and solutions-oriented approach to challenges.
  7. A proven, skilled negotiator able to influence and communicate with internal and external stakeholders in a matrix environment.
