We are seeking a Technical Talent Acquisition Specialist to significantly contribute to the ongoing expansion and success of Datadog by identifying outstanding talent for our Engineering teams across EMEA. Our structure is designed around highly collaborative groups consisting of full-cycle recruiters, sourcers, and coordinators. The Technical Talent Acquisition Specialist will work closely with Recruiters and Hiring Managers to create innovative and customized strategies to engage passive candidates. You will serve as the initial point of contact for prospective candidates in the hiring journey, playing a vital role in recognizing exceptional talent and sharing the Datadog narrative.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and sustain a pipeline of active and passive candidates for challenging, hard-to-fill, or high-volume roles using diverse sources such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Gem, sourcing campaigns, event attendee lists, Google searches, and more.
  • Analyze the talent landscape, monitoring talent movement, market attrition, and identifying companies that employ the talent we seek.
  • Promote and advocate for referral generation to uncover hidden talent within employee networks.
  • Design and execute strategic sourcing plans, tracking progress throughout the search process to share with stakeholders.
  • Utilize your research skills to creatively identify talent that may otherwise remain unnoticed, including diverse candidates.
  • Screen, prepare, and coach candidates to ensure a positive interview experience, regardless of the outcome (Sourcers are responsible for the initial candidate screening and support candidates through to the final interview rounds).
  • Focus on event/project management, messaging analysis, creative prospecting, and stakeholder engagement.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • A seasoned Recruiter or Sourcer with over 3 years of experience in a search firm or in-house recruiting team, particularly in high-volume prospecting.
  • A professional with a strong sense of urgency, excellent communication skills, and attention to detail.
  • Passionate and determined about sourcing and outreach strategies, with a knack for engaging candidates.
  • Capable of working independently while managing multiple roles simultaneously.
  • A proven track record of engaging talent through direct outreach, with the ability to convert passive prospects into candidates.
  • Creative, innovative, inquisitive, and results-oriented.
  • Proficient in English.
