Senior Contract Manager

The Senior Contract Manager is a key member of the Project Management Team, responsible for advising the Project Director on contract strategy and ensuring contract management activities throughout projects. This role involves preparing and consolidating complex analyses of contract conditions, issues, and risks, as well as developing associated contractual strategy. The Senior Contract Manager will align contract management plans with project plans and ensure contract management throughout the project on all topics. Additionally, this role involves managing a small team, depending on assignment and profile, and may include management of one or more Contract Engineers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provides principal contract support and leads all contract management activities for the Project, including Client contracts and Partnership arrangements (JV, Consortium).
* Prepares a consolidated analysis of the Contract Terms and Conditions of the prime contract with the Client to highlight areas of risks and opportunities to be pursued.
* Ensures relevant back-to-back between the prime contract and the supply chain in developing a flow-down plan and assisting the Procurement and Subcontracting teams in the preparation of the Particular Terms & Conditions and subsequent negotiation of critical terms with Vendors/Subcontractors.
Requirements:
* Proven minimum 15 years relevant experience in large Oil & Gas or Infrastructure EPC contracting within an international company.
* Proven knowledge and experience in Contract Management in the Energy or related industry.
* Prominent written and verbal communication in English.
* Good understanding of Project Management, Planning, Risk Management, and Cost.
* Autonomous and organizational skills/time management.
* Contract Management Certification (or the like).
