About the Role

We are looking for a Vice President of Data and AI to lead our data strategy and drive innovation in our platform. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and executing the vision and strategy for data, AI, and machine learning within the Workiva platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and lead teams of Data Engineers, Data Infrastructure Engineers, Data Architects, AI/ML Engineers, and Data Scientists
  • Oversee the design, architecture, development, and scaling of new data systems and platforms
  • Collaborate with Product leadership to drive innovation, ensuring that data-driven insights are fully integrated into our platform and customer experiences

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • ~15+ years of experience leading engineering or technical teams, with a focus on data-driven roles
  • ~ Experience working cross-functionally with product, engineering, marketing, and business leaders to deliver impactful, data-driven solutions
