European Credit & Mortgage Structured Products Sales
As Goldman Sachs expands its European Credit & Mortgage Structured Products operations, we are seeking a candidate with 5-10 years of experience at the Vice President level. The role within the European Credit & Mortgage Structured Products sales team focuses on establishing and nurturing long-term relationships with our diverse clientele, which includes asset managers, insurance firms, banks, pension funds, and hedge funds across the continent.
On a daily basis, we deliver information, execution, and tailored solutions to our clients. The role is dynamic and not confined to a narrow scope, embodying an entrepreneurial spirit that encourages innovative thinking.
A salesperson in the Credit & Mortgage Structured Products sector will have extensive coverage across various products and will closely collaborate with different divisions of the firm, including Global Markets, Investment Banking, and Asset Wealth Management. Given the intricate nature of the Credit & Mortgage Structured credit business, we seek intellectually curious individuals who relish the challenge of analyzing complex financial products.
Our focus spans both secondary and primary markets, as well as risk distribution and sourcing, providing the sales team with extensive product exposure across jurisdictions. Sales professionals engage daily with product experts across the firm and serve as the primary contact for any investor seeking structured credit exposure.

  • Work alongside various divisions of the firm across EMEA, Asia, and the Americas
  • Oversee trade execution and resolve trade-related issues
  • Efficiently navigate all facets of the firm, interacting with other sales desks, research teams, strategists, traders, bankers, legal, and compliance
  • Facilitate new account opening processes
Required Skills and Experience:
  • A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in Credit & Mortgage Structured Products
  • High intellectual curiosity and an entrepreneurial mindset
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Creative problem-solving abilities
  • Robust process orientation
  • Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in French and other continental languages is advantageous
