Position Overview: We are seeking a Technical Sales Specialist to effectively manage, strategize, and enhance the sales of our Industrial Gases Division's offerings.
ROLE DETAILSPosition: Technical Sales Specialist
Region: North/Center West Italy
Business Unit: Industrial Gases
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Geographical Focus: North/Center West Italy (including regions such as Lombardia, Piemonte, Liguria, Valle d'Aosta, Toscana, Umbria)
- Clientele: End Users, OEMs, Distributors, EPC, MRO, Installers, Engineering firms
- Applicable Industries: All sectors except Food & Beverage and Pharmaceuticals
- Specializations: Compressed Air purification, Technical gases filtration, Methane, Biogas, Biomethane, Hydrogen, Nitrogen filtration and purification, Industrial liquid filtration (water, chemicals, additives, etc.)
- Sales Optimization: Enhance sales and profitability in alignment with company policies and long-term goals
- Customer Solutions: Address customer requirements with technically advanced and energy-efficient solutions
- Technical Support: Manage technical inquiries across the entire product range and services
- Business Development: Leverage the existing Donaldson network to identify new business prospects
- Account Management: Oversee CRM for designated accounts
- Sales Passion: A strong enthusiasm for sales
- Educational Background: Technical Degree in Mechanics or Electro-Mechanics or equivalent experience
- Team Collaboration: A cooperative mindset with a willingness to engage and collaborate with others
- Experience: A minimum of 2-5 years in industrial sales
- Market Insight: Knowledge of relevant markets
- Client Engagement: Proficient in organizing customer visits
- Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel for local presence and follow-up
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with Compressed Air and gas purification is advantageous
- Commercial Acumen: Strong ability to generate new business opportunities
- Self-Motivation: A proactive approach to driving and developing opportunities
- Communication Skills: Proficient in Italian and English; additional languages are a plus
