We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled professional to lead our Modern Trade Cluster in France, Netherlands, and Belgium. As Head of Modern Trade Cluster, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a cohesive commercial strategy to drive growth and profitability in the Off-Trade Channel.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement a long-term commercial strategy for the Off-Trade Channel, based on insights and robust analysis.
- Build and nurture key customer relationships up to Category Director level, ensuring annual operating plans communicate a clear vision and objectives to the team.
- Lead the account team to develop, set, and deliver the annual sales revenue plan, ensuring delivery of in-store execution, standards of distribution, display, and promotion.
- Continually develop the capabilities of the team, via coaching, feedback, and formal training, to drive business growth and profitability.
- Attend and shape critical sales meetings and cross-functional meetings to review progress and course correct where necessary.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or Economics.
- Fluent French and English; Dutch will be an advantage.
- A minimum of 10 years relevant senior sales experience working with FMCG, preferably in the premium or luxury segment.
- Evidence of developing highly favourable trading terms and significant account 'wins' within Retail/Grocery.
- Proven track record of people management, P&L management, and devising and implementing successful channel strategies.
This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong commercial acumen, excellent communication and leadership skills, and a deep understanding of the French Off-Trade market.
