Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Resource Mobilization Expert to join our Donor Relations and Fundraising Support Unit. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective resource mobilization strategies, analyzing funding opportunities, and cultivating relationships with key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain comprehensive monthly pipeline reports to analyze funding opportunities and prospects.
- Conduct in-depth research on prospective donors to support meeting preparation and decision-making processes.
- Design and implement processes to enhance resource mobilization efficiency and effectiveness.
- Develop and maintain user-friendly dashboards for easy access to critical funding insights.
- Leverage technology platforms for streamlined dissemination of funder intelligence information.
- Regularly review and update resource mobilization-related datasets and contact lists to ensure accuracy and relevance.
- Conduct ongoing research to identify new potential donors and funding opportunities.
- Maintain a database of donor profiles and funding cycles for targeted outreach.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to understand funding priorities, requirements, and to evaluate CIMMYT's eligibility for competitive funding opportunities.
Requirements
- A Master's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or International Development.
- Proven experience in data analysis, preferably in resource mobilization or fundraising.
- Proficiency in data management and visualization tools (Excel, Tableau).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Experience in donor research and stakeholder engagement is desirable.
- Advanced level of English.
