JOB PURPOSE
  • To identify and recruit retail talent for both active and passive roles across our mainline and outlet stores in Europe.
  • To oversee the daily execution of recruitment initiatives, ensuring compliance with established metrics.
  • To serve as a brand ambassador, delivering a premium experience for candidates and hiring managers alike, consistently achieving the highest standards.
  • To act as the Subject Matter Expert in areas related to attracting, sourcing, screening, assessing, pipelining, and extending offers to candidates.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop effective sourcing and assessment strategies while managing expectations.
  • Oversee the entire candidate journey, which includes:
  • Skillfully attracting, sourcing, and aligning candidates with open positions.
  • Advertising vacancies through the most effective channels to reach potential candidates.
  • Conducting telephone and video interviews with shortlisted candidates.
  • Coordinating and facilitating competency and strength-based interviews and assessment centers.
  • Arranging interviews and managing the offer process.
  • Implementing strategies to enhance diversity within the talent pool.
  • Building and maintaining a network of candidates through proactive sourcing and relationship management, including talent mapping through market research.
  • Partnering with HR Business Partners and the broader HR team regarding candidate compensation, mobility, and visa matters, while contributing to overall talent acquisition strategies.
  • Enhancing Burberry's employer brand as a premier employer by crafting and executing strategies that showcase our unique culture, values, and career opportunities to attract top talent globally.
  • Embodying the Burberry values in all actions as a brand ambassador.
PERSONAL PROFILE
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in retail recruitment within a reputable internal or external recruitment environment.
  • A comprehensive understanding of recruitment processes and standards relevant to the field.
  • Exceptional sourcing abilities with experience managing multiple searches, whether in-house or through agency partnerships.
  • Proven experience engaging passive candidates through diverse sourcing methods.
  • Demonstrated capability in strategically mapping organizations and functions.
  • Experience in developing and effectively recruiting from talent pools.
  • Proficiency in utilizing innovative methods to source, attract, and build talent pools.
  • Familiarity with recruitment systems, including applicant tracking systems.
  • A strong grasp of external best practices and trends in talent acquisition.
  • Commitment to delivering a premium candidate and hiring manager experience, with a focus on quality and efficiency.
MEASURES OF SUCCESS
  • Successful delivery of over 150 retail candidate vacancies annually across multiple mainline and outlet stores in Europe.
  • Achievement of talent acquisition pace, accuracy, and quality metrics.
  • Effective development of talent pools and market maps.
  • Thorough understanding of the business and recruitment processes across all areas.
  • Awareness of global key initiatives and processes.
  • Consistent meeting of deadlines.
  • High accuracy in data management.
  • Exemplifying the Burberry values in all endeavors.
