Director of Digital Cloud Sales

Position Overview:

  • The Director of Digital Cloud Sales will spearhead the expansion and management of Digital Cloud's sales initiatives, focusing on Marketing Cloud, Commerce Cloud & Data Cloud in the French market.
  • Develop and implement a robust customer acquisition strategy aimed at achieving significant annual growth in ACV bookings.
  • Cultivate and maintain essential customer relationships while devising strategies to enhance the company's Digital Cloud presence across various industry sectors.
  • Deliver precise and comprehensive sales forecasts.
  • Oversee the entire sales process and establish key performance indicators for effective sales funnel management.
  • Strategically plan and manage operations at both tactical and strategic levels.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with all field teams, including Account Development, Solution Engineering, Consulting Services, Customer Success, and Channels.
  • Build trusted partnerships with critical corporate teams, encompassing industry marketing, product development, product management, and recruitment.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Experience in 2nd or 3rd line leadership roles, guiding teams in strategic and/or industry sales is preferred.
  • A proven history of recruiting, nurturing, and retaining a high-performing sales team.
  • Consistent track record of exceeding quota and revenue targets.
  • Established relationships with key stakeholders across diverse industries.
  • Minimum of 8 years in software and/or applications sales, ideally with IT-centric solutions/applications targeting CMO/Executive levels.
  • Demonstrated success in building satisfied, loyal, and referenceable clients.
  • Experience collaborating with C-suite level resources, aligning with Area Vice Presidents, Regional Vice Presidents, Account Executives, and internal leadership teams to present a unified vision for customers.
  • Proven ability to navigate within a highly matrixed organization and foster strong relationships across all functions.
  • Sales approach focused on value and customer outcomes.
  • Strong operational and analytical skills.
  • Experience in selling cloud-based enterprise applications is highly desirable.
  • A degree or equivalent relevant experience is required, with evaluation based on core competencies for the role (e.g., leadership roles, military experience, volunteer work, etc.).
