Position SummaryAs a Banquet Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless execution of events. Your responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing the arrangement of function rooms in alignment with the Banquet Event Order.
- Verifying that all necessary preparations for events are completed in a timely manner.
- Addressing guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism and efficiency, while keeping the Banquet Manager informed of any significant issues.
- Monitoring banquet service equipment to maintain optimal operational levels.
- Coordinating staff assignments for each event to ensure adequate coverage.
- Supporting the Banquet Manager in staff training, conflict resolution, and professional development.
- Familiarizing yourself with hotel safety protocols and emergency procedures.
- Assisting Food & Beverage outlets during peak service times as required.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A minimum of a college education.
- A certificate in Food & Beverage services is advantageous.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
- Proficiency in both English and Vietnamese, with strong communication skills.
- A service-oriented mindset with attention to detail.
- The ability to thrive in high-pressure environments.
- Two days off per week.
