FINANCE OPERATIONS MANAGER, CDI H/F
Location: Chartres (France)

We are seeking a Finance Operations Manager to become a vital part of our Finance team at Coty's manufacturing facility in Chartres. In this role, you will serve as a strategic partner, delivering financial analysis to guide operational decisions aimed at enhancing value and managing costs effectively. You will work closely with various departments within the factory, including production, quality assurance, logistics, planning, and finance teams across multiple regions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

As our Finance Operations Manager, your responsibilities will include:

Financial Reporting and Forecasting

  • Developing the annual budget and updating forecasts for Direct Labor (DL) and Material Usage Variances (MUV).
  • Validating monthly conversion cost variances and conducting analyses to ensure spending aligns with the budget.
  • Providing weekly reports on volume absorption, direct labor variances, and month-end controls.
  • Ensuring accurate and timely month-end closing in collaboration with shared service centers and custodial teams.

Continuous Improvement Initiatives

  • Exhibiting strong leadership and problem-solving skills to challenge operational performance and influence action plans.
  • Constantly seeking opportunities to enhance reporting processes to meet customer needs efficiently.
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements to streamline financial operations and increase value-added activities.
  • Engaging in various projects to drive operational excellence.

Product Cost Management

  • Assisting the innovation team by providing timely and accurate product costing using relevant software.
  • Managing the annual standard cost documentation in collaboration with procurement and innovation teams.
  • Overseeing year-end standard cost releases and inventory evaluations.
  • Reviewing changes in Bill of Materials (BOM).
  • Maintaining cost rates in the financial system and overseeing inventory controls.
  • Providing financial insights to support logistics in inventory management processes.

  • Proficiency in financial software and tools (SAP, Excel, etc.).
  • A proactive approach to supporting operational teams in their daily challenges.

  • A solid understanding of systems analysis and data analysis principles.
  • Excellent communication skills in both French and English.
  • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
  • The capability to identify and analyze data trends.
