Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Guest Service Representative to join our team at Hyatt Hotels Corporation. As a key member of our hotel operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and have a memorable stay with us.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide speedy, accurate, and efficient telephone and message service to our guests at all times.
  • Ensure smooth and efficient communication and coordination between departments, with a focus on interactions between Guest Experience Officers, Front Desk, Sales, Housekeeping, Maintenance, Telephone, and Security.
  • Work closely with other management personnel to achieve the overall success of the hotel and the satisfaction of our guests.
  • Enter guest details correctly in accordance with clean data principles.
  • Follow hotel guidelines when recruiting and use a competency-based approach to selecting associates.
  • Oversee the punctuality and appearance of Guest Experience associates, ensuring they wear the correct uniform and maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene.
  • Conduct annual Performance Development Discussions with Guest Experience associates and support them in their professional development goals.
  • Plan and implement effective training programs for Guest Experience associates in coordination with the Training Manager and Departmental Trainers.
  • Develop the skills and effectiveness of Guest Experience associates through training, coaching, and/or mentoring.
  • Ensure associates follow hotel, company, and local rules, policies, and regulations relating to fire and hazard safety, and security.
  • Exemplify and instill a sales attitude in associates to maintain awareness of sales opportunities within the hotel.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position in a 5-star international hotel chain.
  • Previous experience in a luxury hotel or international experience is an advantage.
  • Excellent English communication skills, strong guest service mindset, and people management and development skills.
