Key Responsibilities

As a Global Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Account Planning and Management
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at target accounts
    • Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams to create and execute account plans
    • Negotiate and manage contracts, call reports, and sampling
    • Create and maintain sales forecasts
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities
  • Pipeline Development
    • Develop and manage opportunities in our sales pipeline
    • Collaborate with Account Development Executives to create and execute sales strategies
    • Introduce and sell new products to customers
  • Key Account Support
    • Provide operational support to Key Account Managers and Account Managers
    • Support pricing initiatives and analyze customer order patterns
    • Escalate and resolve customer issues
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Education and Experience
    • A degree in a technical, scientific, or business-related field
    • A minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in sales within the industry
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Strong interest in value selling and developing value propositions
    • Results-driven and self-motivated with a growth mindset
    • Ability to work effectively as an individual contributor and as an influencer of peers and professionals in other functions
    • Fluency in French and English, with additional languages a plus
