Lyreco Switzerland AG is in search of a Senior Software Developer to enhance their integration team amid a significant digital evolution. This position entails crafting software solutions, participating in architectural choices, and mentoring fellow team members. You will collaborate with an agile team to design, analyze, and propose solutions, working closely with developers, product owners, and system analysts. Moreover, you will have the opportunity to share your knowledge with developers across the organization during community gatherings.

Lyreco is a global distributor of workplace supplies, headquartered in Marly, North of France. Established in 1926 by the Gaspard family, this privately held company operates in 25 countries directly and supports an additional 17 countries through 15 strategic partnerships.
In a vast and intricate organization that utilizes multiple enterprise-scale systems, ensuring effective integration is crucial. The integration team is responsible for developing and maintaining a modern, scalable service-oriented integration layer. The team's responsibilities extend beyond mere integration; they focus on constructing services that eliminate redundant business logic from various systems, facilitating scalability and future integrations (e.g., master data). We are currently seeking a seasoned Senior Software Developer to contribute to our pursuit of excellence during this digital transformation.
As a Senior Software Developer, your role will encompass not only the development of efficient software solutions but also participation in architectural decisions and guidance for other team members. You will be part of an agile team tasked with both building and investigating solutions. In this role, you will collaborate closely with other developers, product owners, and system analysts. You will also have the chance to disseminate your expertise to other developers throughout the company during various community meetings.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop integration services utilizing an API/event-first approach, supported by NoSQL and Kafka technologies.
- Assist in extending the existing framework to facilitate service development.
- Actively participate in scrum ceremonies as a committed team member.
- Conduct code reviews and engage in pair programming.
- Collaborate on solution designs with technical leads and architects.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Proficient in Java programming (primarily working with Java 17+).
- Familiarity with message brokers such as Kafka.
- Experience in developing distributed systems.
- Understanding of TDD, Clean Code, and Clean Architecture principles.
- Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
- Experience with NoSQL databases is advantageous.
- Background in Kanban and/or Scrum methodologies.
- Proficient in JIRA and Confluence or similar tools for process tracking and documentation.
- Strong skills and experience in Agile methodologies.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders in a diverse environment.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
Additional Requirements
- B2/C1 level of English proficiency.
- Hybrid work model (3 days per week in the office).
- Experience with remote work environments.
