Retail Operations Supervisor
In the role of Retail Operations Supervisor, you will provide guidance and oversight to the store team while effectively implementing the company's mission and principles under the leadership of the Store Manager.
Your focus will be on enhancing store profitability by meeting sales objectives. You will ensure that the standards and procedures for merchandising, operations, staffing, and community involvement are executed efficiently. In the absence of the Store Manager, you will take charge of store operations. You will foster an inclusive atmosphere, prioritizing the needs of both internal and external customers.If you seek a company committed to your personal growth and development into a future leader, then Vans is the right fit for you.
How You Will ContributeYour Responsibilities:
Drive store sales, achieve sales targets, and track performance against key metrics.
Encourage and exemplify a customer-focused approach by demonstrating effective selling techniques through authentic interactions with customers for the team to follow.
Assist the Store Manager in networking, attracting, recruiting, and interviewing top talent.Provide direct coaching, feedback, training, and supervision to associates, ensuring adherence to all company policies and procedures.
Exhibit clear communication, training, and coaching to establish expectations regarding customer engagement, store policies, and procedures while nurturing a cohesive team.
Aid in managing expenses to optimize sales and profitability.Foster a productive environment by ensuring the store team possesses the knowledge and skills necessary to achieve sales and customer engagement goals.
Skills for SuccessYour Qualifications:
~3+ years of relevant retail management experience.
~Proven ability to achieve business objectives by leading store teams.
~Flexibility to work a schedule that meets business needs, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
~Capability to coach and inspire a team to excel in sales and profitability.
~Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
~Solution-oriented mindset.
~Adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
~Formal education and advanced degrees are advantageous, but we value your overall experience and professional accomplishments more.
Compensation Range:
$17.60 USD - $26.40 USD per hour
Starting Pay Rate:
$19.00
