Position: Retail Operations Leader
Employment Type: Full-time, permanent role
Financial Accountability = 50%
- Engage actively on the sales floor, collaborating with customers and team members to meet store revenue targets.
- Be among the top two sales performers in the establishment. Inspire all personnel to provide exceptional customer service to fulfill the financial objectives of the company.
- Involve yourself in the yearly budgeting process, participate in quarterly/monthly financial review meetings as required, and attend other necessary meetings to ensure the fiscal health of the business.
High-Performing Team = 25%
- Design, execute, and assess staff training programs. Training topics encompass sales techniques, merchandising strategies, Daily Task List, G8 POS, G8 Analytics, and product knowledge.
- Assess training effectiveness through various methods, including role-playing exercises, Trek University, secret shopper evaluations, and direct observation.
- Conduct bi-weekly leadership meetings with the Service Lead, Sales Lead, and Inventory Lead to review performance from the past two weeks and plan for the future.
Store Presentation and Operations = 15%
- Participate in the visual merchandising of the store to guarantee a professional, accessible, and welcoming shopping environment.
- Merchandising tasks include, but are not limited to, organizing, tidying, arranging fixtures, and creating feature displays.
- Monitor inventory supplies and manage ordering/purchasing as necessary.
- Responsible for exporting daily files into accounting software at least weekly.
Human Resources Engagement = 10%
- Actively engage in all aspects of human resources and staffing within the store.
- This includes interviewing prospective employees, completing onboarding paperwork, scheduling, and addressing disciplinary matters.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management as required.
- Proficiency in English is essential.
