About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Director to join our team at KCAS Bio. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for developing and executing business strategies that drive revenue growth and expand our presence in the bioanalytical services market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute business strategies to drive revenue growth and expand our presence in the bioanalytical services market
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive prospecting and lead generation
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to drive repeat business and account growth
  • Represent the organization at professional meetings, trade shows, and conferences to maintain visibility and market awareness
  • Support the development of proposals and contracts in collaboration with the contracts/client services team
  • Collect and communicate customer needs to internal teams for proposal generation
  • Ensure accurate transmission of information to the operational team
  • Follow up on opportunities until closure
  • Report activities into the CRM system on a weekly basis
Requirements
  • University degree (Master equivalent) in biological science related fields
  • Prior sales experience in the biotech industry (minimum 3 years)
  • Prior experience in bioanalysis for clinical trials is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills (written and spoken) in English and French
  • Ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely
  • Ability to be a quick thinker, communicator, and creative problem solver
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Results-oriented, productive, and enthusiastic
  • Team player mentality
  • Ability to work remotely without daily supervision
