Job Description

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled postdoctoral researcher to join our team at CEA and contribute to the development of the AMITEX code, a massively parallel code for numerical simulation of mechanical behavior of heterogeneous materials.

Key Responsibilities

  • Extend the AMITEX code to non-periodic boundary conditions
  • Explore the use of hybrid CPU/GPU architectures for improved performance
  • Develop multi-scale couplings using FFT-based simulations

Requirements

  • PhD in numerical mechanics or related field
  • Strong programming skills in C++ and/or Python
  • Experience with GPU programming and parallel computing
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
