Position Overview
This role is situated within the AWS EMEA SARL (France Branch) team.


As a Solutions Architect, you will collaborate closely with AWS clients and partners to maximize their cloud capabilities.

You will operate at the intersection of technology and business, engaging with organizations at various stages of their cloud journey. Solutions Architects are tasked with developing and delivering technical content while disseminating best practices.

Role Focus
Partner Sales Solutions Architects (PSSAs) concentrate on Global and National Systems Integrators (G/SI) and Independent Software Vendors (ISVs).

Your mission will be to expedite and execute customers' technical strategies by leveraging solution design best practices, cloud-native applications, and a wide array of AWS offerings provided by our partner network.

In this capacity, you will oversee the technical collaboration with key partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage directly with clients and partners to fast-track their initiatives and propose optimal architectural solutions aligned with their long-term business objectives.
  • Establish technical partnerships with collaborators and serve as their trusted advisor.
Your guidance will be shaped by the best interests of the customer.

  • Communicate the perspectives of customers and partners to influence the development of AWS features.
  • Contribute to the creation and dissemination of best practices, technical documentation, and new reference architectures (e.g., white papers, code samples, blog posts).

  • Promote and educate on AWS technologies (e.g., through workshops, user groups, meetups, public speaking engagements, online videos, or conferences).
  • Support the growth of the Solutions Architecture team by participating in candidate interviews and influencing hiring decisions.
You will also assist in skill development through knowledge sharing.

  • Deepen your expertise in technical domains relevant to your interests and your customers' outcomes.
A Day in the Life

In this position, you will have the opportunity to apply your creativity, connecting technology to practical solutions while educating AWS clients and partners about the possibilities.

You will be able to implement or document cloud-native reference architectures for various use cases, including GenAI, Machine Learning, Serverless and Container-based architectures, Analytics and Big Data, DevOps, or Security. The Solutions Architecture team comprises a diverse group of technologists from various backgrounds.

While practical knowledge of the AWS platform is advantageous, it is not mandatory if you possess a solid technical foundation and a willingness to learn.

You will receive support to enhance your expertise in industry and technology areas of focus. Each day will present new learning opportunities from your partners, customers, peers, and personal experiments.
