We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Sales Coordinator to join our team at Hyatt Hotels Corporation. As a Sales Coordinator, you will play a critical role in overseeing hotel sales systems, including lead qualification, report preparation, and administrative support to the Assistant Director of Sales.
Key Responsibilities- Answer all incoming calls promptly and efficiently, providing attentive and courteous service to guests and colleagues.
- Communicate closely with the Assistant Director of Sales to ensure seamless group bookings and coordination.
- Maintain accurate files and reports, including electronic records and special reservations.
- Book and block rooms according to hotel standards, ensuring accurate Group Rooming Lists and Booking Agreements.
- Manage the contract turnover process to ensure booking accuracy and assist with billing and reporting as needed.
- Host client site tours and provide exceptional service to guests and colleagues.
- High School diploma or equivalent required; experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
- At least 3-5 years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
- College coursework in a related field helpful.
- OPERA and/or Envision System preferred.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize departmental functions.
