Job Title: Associate Producer - Little Nightmares

Bandai Namco Europe is a leading global publisher and developer of entertainment content for platforms including all major video game consoles and PC.

We are seeking an Associate Producer to join our Content Creation & Publishing Team, working on our headline IP: Little Nightmares.

As an Associate Producer, you will support our Producers with the management of product development from concept until release date, helping to increase the success of this IP.

You will work closely with development teams, internal functional teams, and publisher representatives, addressing concerns in a timely manner and maintaining all project-related documents and schedules.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the project in collaboration with development teams
  • Supporting the project in collaboration with Bandai Namco internal teams (Marketing, QA, Localization, Release Management, Engineering, Printed Materials, Operations, etc.) and Bandai Namco other entities
  • Supporting the creation and maintenance of detailed schedules in collaboration with all teams involved on the project
  • Supporting the milestone review and approval process
  • Providing qualitative support to Producers by reviewing the game on multiple platforms, making comparative playthroughs, and liaising with QA
  • Supporting the creation and maintenance of reporting on the project
  • Supporting the financial tracking of the project
  • Coordinating and tracking activities and assets to ensure that project tasks are completed on time
  • Supporting the identification of risks and their impact on projects and keeping the scope of the project in line with budget and schedule
  • Supporting the identification and resolution of conflicts between schedule, budget, and quality
  • Coordinating the build process and delivery of versions to QA, Localization, PR, and rating agencies
  • Supporting the evaluation and assessment of project quality during early development stages with the game evaluation team and making recommendations to the development team
  • Providing technical support to Marketing, liaising with studios for Marketing builds, providing feedback on Marketing assets such as trailers, etc.
  • Supporting Marketing, Event Management, and PR for events such as E3, Gamescom, etc.
  • Supporting the display of games to marketing and sales teams, press, etc.

Requirements:

  • Good organizational, problem-solving, and project management skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Adequate knowledge of various technologies used in video game development (3D environment, etc.)
  • Good knowledge of product development and production cycles
  • Good knowledge of consoles, video game genres, and their markets
  • Strong project management practices and software, including Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Excellent English communication skills and ability to make presentations

Experience and qualifications:

  • At least 1-2 years of experience as an Assistant or Associate Producer with significant responsibilities and on released titles
  • Experience coordinating product development efforts with functional teams, such as Engineering, Localization, Printed Materials, Quality Assurance, Public Relations, Sales, and Marketing, throughout a complete production cycle and across multiple studios
  • Bachelor's degree in project management, design, engineering, or related discipline required
