About the Role
As a System Engineer at Thales Aerospace Communications, you will be responsible for spearheading advancements in aviation technology. From conceptualization to implementation and certification, you will craft solutions ensuring safety and connectivity, shaping the future of airborne communications.
Key Responsibilities
- Capture customer requirements and define system requirements, architectures, and test solutions to meet industry standards and customer needs.
- Allocate requirements to sub-systems and associated hardware and software elements to ensure seamless integration.
- Review system performance and perform system tests to ensure reliability and compliance with industry standards and customer needs.
- Develop documentation for certifications and approvals to facilitate regulatory compliance.
Qualifications
- Master's or BSc in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields to demonstrate expertise in system principles.
- Proficiency in system principles for voice, data communication, and network infrastructure to ensure effective system design.
- Familiarity with contemporary software/hardware design techniques and international specifications to stay up-to-date with industry developments.
- Experience in system design, certification authorities, and regulatory standards to ensure compliance and quality.
