Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Development and Funding Specialist to join our team. This role is crucial in securing vital resources to advance our mission and make a tangible difference in the lives of individuals living with genetic diseases.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and evaluate national and regional funding opportunities aligned with AFM-Téléthon's strategic goals.
- Collaborate closely with Regional Service Directors to develop compelling proposals that address the specific needs of patients and families in their respective regions.
- Lead the process of securing public and private funding through effective communication, relationship building, and grant writing.
- Develop and implement strategies to maximize fundraising efforts within the healthcare pathway for patients and families.
- Conduct thorough cost-benefit analyses and ensure project feasibility before submission to funders.
- Cultivate strategic partnerships with key stakeholders in the healthcare sector, including public funding bodies such as ARS and HAS.
- Monitor the progress of funded projects, ensuring compliance with reporting requirements and delivering timely updates to funders and AFM-Téléthon leadership.
- Contribute to the development and dissemination of promotional materials that effectively communicate AFM-Téléthon's impact and mission.
Required Qualifications
- Comprehensive understanding of legal, financial, and contractual aspects related to public and private funding proposals.
- In-depth knowledge of healthcare stakeholders and relevant public funding bodies.
- Strong grasp of various funding mechanisms and grant writing best practices.
- Mastery of intellectual property and contract law principles.
- Proven project management skills and experience in leading successful initiatives.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
