In the role of Corporate Legal Advisor, you will be integral to the APAC Legal Team, engaging in various legal functions such as commercial contracting, legal documentation preparation, and providing guidance on applicable laws and regulations, as well as corporate governance within the APAC region.

Key responsibilities include:
  1. Delivering timely and effective legal counsel to business leaders regarding general commercial agreements.
  2. Assessing and mitigating legal risks aligned with the company’s commercial strategies.
  3. Drafting, negotiating, modifying, and reviewing legal contracts.
  4. Assisting with mergers and acquisitions and other corporate matters as necessary.
  5. Advising on privacy and data protection matters, ensuring compliance with legal updates.
  6. Being a visible and accessible resource within the organization, collaborating closely with sales, contract teams, and clients.
  7. Representing the organization in discussions with current and prospective clients to uphold the company’s reputation and contractual obligations.
  8. Offering a balanced and pragmatic approach during negotiations.
  9. Assisting in the management of any litigation and disputes that may arise.
  10. Creating high-quality legal precedents for internal reference and contributing to internal processes from a legal and governance standpoint.
What you will bring to the table:
  1. A legal professional with 2-4 years of post-qualification experience in technology law, corporate law, or general commercial contracting, acquired in-house or in private practice.
  2. Familiarity with privacy and data protection regulations is highly valued.
  3. Strong understanding of contract law and commercial principles.
  4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  5. Strong interpersonal skills and stakeholder management abilities.
  6. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  7. A solid grasp of commercial acumen.
  8. A collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently when necessary.
  9. Proficiency in multitasking, prioritizing, and meeting deadlines.
  10. A proactive, professional, and adaptable work ethic.
  11. A commitment to humility, diligence, and teamwork.
