Your Responsibilities

In this role, you will play a pivotal part in cultivating a robust technological culture at Hexa and in the development of outstanding companies.

You will engage with a diverse array of stakeholders, including Hexa's partners, Vertical partners (eFounders, Hexa AI, Hexa Health, Hexa Scale), business and tech founders, and Hexa's Core Team.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Attracting Technology Founders
    • Collaborate with Hexa partners and the Talent team to enhance the partnership process with tech founders;
    • Conduct comprehensive technical evaluations to assess candidates and share best practices in tech recruitment.
  2. Promoting Hexa's Technological Culture: Act as a Tech ambassador to amplify Hexa's tech culture, making it integral to our identity.
    • Organize tech events featuring inspiring speakers and engaging topics to attract more tech founders;
    • Build and maintain relationships with tech experts and communities to identify and recruit top-tier talent.
  3. Serving as a Technology Advisor: Foster a strong tech culture for our startup initiatives by providing guidance on technical strategy, team development, and assisting founders in overcoming technical challenges.
    • Define what to develop (versus what to acquire): assist in transforming our ideas into startup initiatives.
    • Share your expertise on best tech practices.
    • Support our partners during the ideation phase of their projects, evaluating the technical feasibility of their business concepts: determine what is viable from a technology standpoint in both the short and long term.
    • Ensure that teams are constructing the most efficient and high-quality products.
  4. Developing Internal Tools: Internal tools are crucial at Hexa, directly aiding our acceleration and scaling efforts.
    • Oversee our existing internal tools, such as Zenvest, our internal club deal management software;
    • Take full ownership of the management and development of new tools.

Qualifications

  • Technical Expertise & Leadership
    • A minimum of 6 years of professional experience in a tech leadership role;
    • Extensive experience in recruiting and mentoring tech teams, as well as assessing candidates;
    • Proficient in FullStack JS with a hands-on approach;
    • Able to deliver code and iterate rapidly.
  • Entrepreneurial Mindset & Independence
    • Familiarity with early-stage work environments: experience as a tech founder is a significant advantage;
    • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision: accustomed to operating without other developers.
  • Business Acumen & Product Insight: A comprehensive understanding of both the technical and business aspects of our projects.
  • Technologically Savvy, Agile & Inquisitive: Stay informed about the rapidly evolving SaaS landscape (new technologies, libraries, and models).
  • Strong Networking Skills & Communication: Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
