About the Team:

As a vital member of the Sales Compensation Team within the Human Resources division, the Senior Analyst of Sales Compensation Strategies will play a crucial role in developing and enhancing sales compensation frameworks, ensuring clarity and effectiveness of compensation structures, and fostering strong collaborative relationships with the global sales team. This individual will work closely with the Sales Compensation Director, HR partners, and various departments (Sales Operations, Sales, IT, etc.) to act as the authority on compensation plans, performance metrics, analytics, and data strategies. The position will involve significant interaction with business units regarding sales compensation while also overseeing the integrity of the sales compensation management system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, validate, and implement semi-annual compensation documentation for the sales team.
  • Oversee the accuracy and distribution of monthly and quarterly sales compensation payments and reports.
  • Facilitate alignment among cross-functional stakeholders and manage the assignment of inputs for sales compensation calculations.
  • Collaborate with the Sales Compensation Director to define the sales compensation business model, optimizing related technologies, policies, processes, and tools.
  • Engage with sales representatives and leadership to identify sales compensation challenges and provide actionable recommendations for improvement.
  • Share insights on sales compensation best practices through data analysis and thoughtful interpretation of results.
  • Educate and guide the sales organization on sales compensation policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrate the ability to engage with senior and executive levels within HR and broader management.
  • Exhibit excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, translating operational or process-related topics into relatable narratives for the business.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or a related discipline is required.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience is required.
  • Proficient in Varicent and Salesforce is essential.
  • Advanced skills in Excel are necessary.
  • Strong analytical, technical, quality control, and collaborative abilities.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the capacity to communicate effectively across various levels and functions within the organization.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment while ensuring accuracy and meeting deadlines.

The salary range provided is specific to positions based in New York City. Medidata determines salary ranges based on various factors, including function, level, candidate expertise, experience, and geographic location. Salary ranges for candidates in other locations may vary based on local market data.

Base salary is one component of the Total Rewards offered by Dassault Systèmes to recognize and compensate employees for their contributions. Many sales roles are eligible for commission based on applicable plan documents, and numerous non-sales positions qualify for annual bonuses.
