Head of Contract Management

At Taylor Hopkinson | Powered by Brunel, we are seeking an experienced professional to lead our Regulatory Management team. As Head of Regulatory Management, you will be responsible for managing the delivery of contractual service agreements for large-scale offshore windfarm projects across the EU HUB.
Key Responsibilities:- Define contracting strategy, including specifying key milestones
- Implement and supervise corrective and preventive maintenance activities to maintain/recover asset availability/reliability
- Lead the review, optimization, and negotiation of contracts, acting as an escalation point of contact in commercial discussions
- Develop contracts governance, processes, reporting, and control of contracts progress and status
- Ensure alignment between different contracts to reduce contractual interface risk
- Identify and timely notify internal and external stakeholders of contractual or commercial risks and impacts of any variations to the contract
- Manage and coordinate advice on key commercial risks under existing service provider contracts
- Manage claims, warranties, and variations with contractors
- Provide key and strategic commercial advice, assessment, and recommendations to the business, providing key knowledge, lessons learned, and support to substantial contracts throughout their life cycle
- Monitor and anticipate claims made by contractors under the contracts and develop mitigation strategies in line with the contract terms
- Analyze key risks in new contracts and assist in providing recommendations for changes required to protect the interests of the project
Requirements:
- Engineering Degree level qualification
- Significant experience in leading tendering processes, contract negotiations, and detailed commercial delivery contracts
- Proven ability to manage the negotiation of multi-contracts in competing timescales
- Fluent in French
