Job Description:Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Head of Regulatory Management to lead our contracts management team in Qatar Onshore. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, communicating, and implementing the contracts management process, as well as coordinating the development and stewardship of contracts plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the contracts management plan for the NFW Onshore Project.
- Provide technical, commercial, and functional direction related to all aspects of contracting, including the formulation and administration of ITT packages for EPC contracts.
- Lead the Project Management Team's Contracting activities, including issuing ITT, executing the EPC contract, and coordinating input with Legal and other Major Project Groups/PM functions.
- Prepare, develop, and manage EPC Contract/Contract documents, including coordination of full Contract scope definition.
- Evaluate EPC contractor's technical bid and make recommendations to Shareholder regarding Contract terms and conditions.
- Administer the EPC contract, documenting and recording all changes, progress measurements, and payments, as well as managing claims, monitoring bonds/guarantees, and preparing Contract modifications.
- Assist with the review and negotiation of project change requests submitted by EPC Contractor.
- Take the lead in preparing contractual responses to the EPC Contractor.
- Interface with EPC Contractor in resolving Contractual related issues.
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree in Business, Law, or Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Excellent written and verbal English skills.
- Good computer literacy skills (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- 2-3 years of experience as a Lead of Contracts during EPC.
Working Relationships:
- Frequent interaction with NFW Onshore Business Manager (Project Controls), NFS Onshore Contracts Division Manager Support, Team Risk Management Head, and team members within the NFS PMT organizations.
- Regular contact with FEED Contractors, their sub-contractors, and vendors during the execution of the project.
Contract Management Objectives:
- Improve project performance by anticipating issues, avoiding negative situations, and reducing the frequency of poor outcomes.
- Embed robust contract management practices to contribute to the consistent delivery of successful projects.
