Become a Heartist with us.
Oversee the execution of banquet events Conduct daily departmental briefings to ensure all essential information is effectively communicated to team members. Participate in pre-event meetings with event organizers, sharing updates and changes with colleagues and relevant departments. Ensure event setups align with guest specifications as detailed in the Banquet Event Order or Change Log. Maintain regular communication with team members regarding guest feedback, both positive and negative. Ensure team members who interact with guests possess comprehensive product knowledge. Uphold high hygiene standards and monitor banquet service equipment to maintain adequate inventory for seamless operations. Verify that all operational supplies are sufficiently stocked to support event execution. Strategically plan staffing allocations and work assignments for each banquet event. Implement effective measures to manage costs and expenses within budgetary constraints. Supervise the maintenance of service standards throughout banquet service operations. Engage with guests to gather feedback during events to ensure satisfaction. Address guest complaints and comments with tact and efficiency. Qualifications
Diploma in Hospitality Management or Food & Beverage preferred. Additional certifications in Food & Beverage are advantageous. Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role. Excellent proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English. Ability to communicate in additional languages and a basic understanding of local languages is a plus. Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
