Event Sales Executive Job Description

About the Role:

The Event Sales Executive is a key member of our sales team, responsible for driving revenue growth and delivering exceptional customer experiences. As a seasoned sales professional, you will be the primary point of contact for conference bookers, ensuring every event is a success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to maximize revenue potential across the Conference & Events market segments.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with conference bookers, providing tailored solutions to meet their needs.
  • Coordinate and host familiarisation and site inspections to showcase our hotel's capabilities.
  • Assist in coordinating sales forecasts and provide suggestions on strategies to achieve targets.
  • Update and maintain accurate account profiles in our database systems.
  • Prepare and deliver event information to event coordinators, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years' experience in a sales role within the Conference & Events sector.
  • Strong focus on hotel operations and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative in a dynamic environment.
  • Confident and articulate communication, negotiation, relationship, and networking skills.
  • Time management skills with the ability to multitask.
