About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Technical Release Manager to join our team at ENGIE, a leading energy and services company. As a key member of our Global Enterprise Transformation (GET) program, you will play a critical role in driving the implementation of our SAP S/4HANA and SAP Ariba solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the GET landscape, including SAP S/4HANA, SAP Ariba, and other related systems.
  • Collaborate with the Release Manager to develop and implement the global release calendar.
  • Oversee the transportation of key SAP components.
  • Configure and utilize Solman/ChaRM to manage change requests and ensure smooth operations.
  • Monitor the execution of transportation requests through automated cycles in Solman ChaRM.
  • Develop and implement a process for handling urgent or ad-hoc transports.
  • Supervise the management of refresh activities and develop industrialized procedures in collaboration with the Infrastructure team.
  • Contribute to revenue management by defining and controlling relevant documents and checklists.
  • Bring a high level of expertise in SAP technical and functional structures.
  • Work closely with ENGIE and SAP teams to leverage SAP expertise.
Requirements
  • Excellent knowledge of SAP technical and functional domains, including SAP Solman and SAP Cloud ALM.
  • Understanding of managing a composite SAP landscape (S/4 HANA, SAP Ariba, SAP BTP, SAP Analytical Cloud, SAP DataSphere, etc.).
  • Experience with all activities involved in maintaining the technical lifecycle of the SAP landscape.
  • Fluent English (oral and written).
  • Leadership and experience in managing cross-functional teams and coordinating large teams.
  • Experience working in project management mode.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Team spirit.
