Role Overview: The Production and Maintenance Manager will be responsible for overseeing the complete production cycle, ensuring that outcomes align with the standards and directives established by upper management. This role encompasses all technical maintenance activities for the production equipment, guaranteeing efficient operations that adhere to quality benchmarks and regulatory stipulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enhance the fermentation procedures and work closely with the quality assurance team.
- Develop maintenance schedules for various departments during non-production times.
- Oversee the procurement of necessary supplies and forecast production requirements.
- Engage in projects aimed at the development of industrial facilities in accordance with management strategies.
- Proactively manage the inventory of spare parts.
- Ensure smooth maintenance and production workflows during operational periods.
- Lead a team of six personnel.
- Supervise production shifts during peak operational times.
- Coordinate staff schedules and handle personnel-related issues.
- Manage external technical service providers.
- Champion ISO 9001 certification initiatives within the organization.
- Drive quality enhancement and technological innovation.
- Oversee the ordering of spare parts and supplies.
- Compile daily production reports.
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will possess a degree in general or technical engineering with a focus on production processes, ideally within the food and beverage sector. A minimum of one year of experience in production management, particularly in the spirits industry, is preferred. Strong interpersonal abilities and a collaborative spirit are essential. Proficiency in IT applications and professional English is required. Certification in various safety and technical domains is also necessary.
