Category Manager Senior

As a Category Manager Senior at McCormick, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our commercial strategy to maximize our market share in the retail channels you are in charge of. This will involve analyzing their performance and identifying areas for improvement.
Main Responsibilities:- Work with the KAM and Category Management team to define and implement growth levers for Sell Out and Market Share in your retail channels, in line with our Commercial and Marketing Policy.
- Act as a Category Partner with the client to build a common vision of the category strategy to be adopted to grow together on the category.
- Work with the field teams to ensure the optimal implementation of our business plans.
- Identify risks and opportunities with clients, stay vigilant on the actions of our competitors and recommend/put in place action plans to ensure our performance.
- Manage and train a Category Manager.
- Business School or equivalent.
- At least 7 years of professional experience, in a leading company in the PGC sector, in Category Management, Sales Force functions. You justify a first experience in management.
- Good knowledge of the French retail market.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to make strategic decisions.
- Business acumen and result-oriented.
- Ownership and ability to move forward projects in complex negotiation environments.
- Team spirit and ability to work in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
- Excellent communication skills in French and English.
- Aptitude to build relationships and influence different profiles internally and externally.
- High resistance to pressure, rigor.
- Leadership and ability to move forward in a complex environment.
- Master of Distributor and Consumer panels, pack office.
