Strategic Operations Manager

At Wakam, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Operations Manager to join our CEO Office. This role is crucial in supporting the CEO and General Secretary in driving the company's transformation and scaling.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the effectiveness of C-level management meetings by planning and coordinating problem resolution to facilitate decision-making. They will also organize Shareholders, Executive, and C-Level meetings, including setting agendas, scheduling, and facilitating decision-making processes.
This position requires a Master's degree level with 5-6 years of experience in strategy consulting, audit, or insurance companies. The ideal candidate should have a general understanding of the insurance sector, finance, risk management, underwriting, operations, and ideally international environments.
We are looking for a positive and proactive individual who can adapt quickly to a complex and changing environment. They should possess high intellectual horsepower, able to quickly digest thoughts, ideas, and data, and create a synopsis or way forward. The ability to project a strategic vision and develop it at the operational level is essential.
This role is result-oriented and focused on problem-solving. The ideal candidate should be curious, autonomous, and a proactive thinker with outstanding analytical and communication skills. They must be able to manage sensitive and confidential information while supporting a dynamic and fast-paced organization.
Our hiring process involves a series of interviews, including a screening interview, manager interviews, and a culture fit interview. We offer a competitive salary, estimated at €85,000 per year, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development in a flat hierarchical system and highly collaborative operating model.
