Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Senior Technical Program Manager to lead our most complex and critical projects, driving execution, coordination, and delivery across technical teams, domains, and products at Datadog.

About the Role:

  • Manage large-scale, cross-organization programs, integrations, and migration efforts, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
  • Collaborate with teams to clarify goals, deliverables, and priorities, leveraging data to inform planning and decision-making.
  • Break down projects into manageable components, identifying dependencies, opportunities for optimization, and potential blockers, proactively recommending solutions.
  • Create and refine processes to maintain focus on reliability, continual improvements, automation, and scaling.
  • Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and success metrics, collect and analyze data, and make information visible to stakeholders.
  • Communicate goals, status, risks, and impact to teams and stakeholders, adapting your approach to suit different audiences.

About You:

  • Hold a solid technical background, preferably in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or information systems, with a passion for learning new technologies.
  • Have experience working collaboratively across organizations, demonstrating strong leadership and interpersonal skills, and a talent for building effective working relationships.
  • Be an effective communicator, with a keen eye for detail, and a desire to work in an innovative environment.
  • Take a data-driven approach to program management, leveraging tools, data analysis, and stakeholder buy-in to drive success.
  • Have experience influencing without direct authority at senior levels, both internally and externally within the engineering organization.
