Travelers now expect the same level of efficiency, transparency, and personalization found in retail sectors. Order Management Systems (OMS) are crucial for airlines to deliver on these expectations.
About the Role
We're seeking a talented Data Architect to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our Order Management System (OMS). You will be responsible for defining and implementing data models, APIs, and governance structures that ensure data quality, security, and consistency.
Key Responsibilities- Data Modeling & API Design: Define and implement robust data models and APIs that support the core functionalities of our OMS. Ensure these designs are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with industry best practices.
- Governance & Collaboration: Establish and lead local governance processes for data and APIs within the OMS domain. Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including product management, development, and data science.
- Data Quality & Security: Implement measures to ensure data quality, integrity, and security throughout the OMS lifecycle. Adhere to relevant industry standards and regulations.
- Documentation & Communication: Create comprehensive documentation for data models, APIs, and governance processes. Effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a strong understanding of data architecture principles and experience in designing and implementing data solutions within complex systems.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Proven experience in designing and implementing data models, APIs, and data governance frameworks.
- Deep understanding of relational and NoSQL database technologies.
- Experience working with cloud-based platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
