We are seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher to join our team at the French Alternative Energies and Atomic Energy Commission (CEA) to work on the development of new electrosynthesis methods for the carboxylation of olefins. This project aims to create a more sustainable production process for carboxylic acids, which are essential reagents in various industries.
The recruited postdoctoral fellow will work on designing and applying new electrochemical processes for the synthesis of industrially relevant carboxylic acids, such as acrylic or adipic acid. The work will involve preparing molecular metallic complexes, running electrocatalytic tests, and conducting mechanistic studies.
Requirements:- PhD in molecular chemistry with experience in catalysis and/or electrochemistry
