About this Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned Commercial Director to drive our strategic Food business sales in the West Europe region.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales business strategies and activities to achieve revenue, sales, and profit targets.
  • Build clear, achievable objectives for each team member and ensure the right people are in place to deliver agreed objectives.
  • Deliver the agreed commercial budget for the business.
  • Build the commercial strategy for the business by market segment and region, reviewing and advising on commercial policies.
  • Participate in integrating the overall Strategy of Food Europe (5-year strategic plan).
  • Manage commercial teams, setting goals in accordance with the commercial strategy, reviewing and monitoring sales results, and adapting the strategy based on results and external environment.
  • Provide leadership and direct involvement to ensure compliance with the agreed commercial strategy for Key Accounts.
  • Work closely with Marketing counterparts to create a collaborative environment for enhancing sales growth globally.
  • Lead, motivate, challenge, and develop the team.

Your Profile

Functional Skills:

  • Excellent knowledge of Packaging and Food businesses, with 15 years of experience in similar positions.
  • Master's degree in industrial or business engineering or economics.
  • Fluent English and French speaker, Dutch as a plus.
  • Proven ability to build effective relationships with international customers and negotiate effectively.
  • Strong sense of market opportunities for growth.
  • Excellent communication skills with a strong expertise in presentations.
  • Proven managerial and leadership skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain winning teams.
  • Proven experience in risk assessment analysis and risk mitigation plans.
  • Proven experience in budget management and P&L-related parameters.
  • Microsoft Office proficient user.
