About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Regional Sales Director to join our team at Uptoo. As a key member of our sales leadership team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and revenue expansion in the French market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of sales managers and merchandise managers to achieve annual sales targets (revenue and margin) by leveraging sales strategy and commercial policy defined at the national level.
  • Manage the sales team in the northern half of France.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by:
    • Establishing and managing relationships with key regional clients.
    • Defining specific client strategies in your region.
    • Working across functions with internal teams (Customer Service, Supply Chain, Marketing, HR, etc.).
    • Negotiating commercial terms and business plans for your region within the allocated budget.
  • Drive sales performance in the region by:
    • Defining sales objectives and action plans for your region's sales team, in coordination with Marketing and Commercial teams.
    • Developing, tracking, and analyzing sales objectives and KPIs.
  • Manage the sales team by:
    • Communicating clear objectives, KPIs, timelines, and work methods.
    • Ensuring team cohesion.
    • Monitoring performance based on KPIs and providing feedback for improvement or recognition.
    • Regularly visiting the field to monitor teams and enhance their skills (negotiation, sales techniques, etc.) (minimum 3 days a week).
  • Contribute to the company's Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process by:
    • Preparing and submitting monthly sales forecasts.
    • Submitting ad-hoc reports (visit plans, visits, stock, sell-out, etc.) to the Commercial Director.
Requirements
  • 5 years of management experience.
  • Experience working with GSA and GSS circuits.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
