We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Strategic Communications Director to join our team at Vectors. As a key member of our communications team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective communication strategies that drive business results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and Implement Communication Strategies: Create and execute comprehensive communication plans that align with our business objectives, including corporate communications, media relations, and crisis communications.
  • Manage Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with senior-level clients, including CEOs and communications directors.
  • Lead Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement communication strategies, including content creation, social media, and event planning.
  • Provide Thought Leadership: Share expertise and insights with clients and internal stakeholders through presentations, articles, and other thought leadership opportunities.
  • Manage and Develop Team Members: Mentor and coach team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.

Requirements

  • 5+ Years of Experience: Proven track record of success in corporate communications, media relations, and crisis communications.
  • Strong Business Acumen: Ability to understand and communicate complex business concepts to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Strong writing, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to adapt to different audiences and formats.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to think critically and develop creative solutions to complex communication challenges.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams, with a focus on collaboration and results-driven decision making.
