Econocom PSF is seeking a dedicated professional for the role of Technical Support Specialist. This position is integral to our operations, providing essential support to our clients and their users.
Role Overview
As a member of the Support / ServiceDesk team, you will be responsible for delivering first and second-level technical assistance. Your role will involve:
- Assisting clients and users with technical inquiries and issues.
- Managing operational aspects of technical environments, including networks, systems, and infrastructures.
- Ensuring the smooth operation of services for both internal and client-facing environments.
- Handling incident tickets assigned to you through our ticketing system.
- Diagnosing and resolving technical problems while keeping environments updated.
- Providing recommendations for improvements and innovations in technology.
- Maintaining and managing monitoring and orchestration tools, as well as client access tools.
- Ensuring accurate reporting and activity tracking.
- Updating technical documentation, procedures, and scripts.
- Acting as a primary contact for clients regarding incident management and resolution.
- Reporting directly to the ServiceDesk Team Leader.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A minimum of a BAC+2 degree in IT or a related scientific field.
- Several years of experience in IT support.
- Proficiency in both Linux and Windows environments.
- A solid understanding of IT infrastructures and systems.
- Experience in a support or ServiceDesk role with strong client interaction skills.
- Familiarity with technologies utilized in a DataCenter.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of managing diverse situations.
- A proactive attitude towards keeping up with technological advancements.
- Knowledge of ITIL practices (ITIL certification is a plus).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- The ability to work both collaboratively and independently.
