Position Overview:

The Senior Engagement Manager is responsible for ensuring the timely and budget-conscious delivery of defined project scopes to achieve client objectives. This role necessitates adherence to ServiceNow's best practice methodology, NowCreate, while collaborating closely with the customer project team and any relevant partners. The Engagement Manager will ensure that governance protocols are followed to secure team member support throughout the project lifecycle, including the identification and mitigation of risks and issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct the delivery team throughout the engagement, often in partnership with a service provider.
  • Oversee engagement governance, timelines, scope, risk management, resource allocation, reporting, and financial oversight.
  • Collaborate with the Sales Account Team, partners, and clients to gain insights into the engagement, including challenges, stakeholders, and value propositions.
  • Align deliverables with client goals and expectations.
  • Utilize expertise from the Now Create methodology to facilitate successful engagement delivery and promote long-term client satisfaction.
  • Act as the primary point of contact to foster collaboration and consensus on proposed solutions.
  • Guide and mentor team members from Customer Outcomes or Partner teams to achieve project deliverables and support client objectives.
  • Lead complex engagements, often in collaboration with service partners.
  • Identify discrepancies between actual performance and planned objectives, proposing solutions and driving resolutions.
Qualifications:

To excel in this role, candidates should possess:
  • A minimum of 8 years of progressive experience within a professional services environment or equivalent education/experience.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%.
  • Expertise in the SaaS industry.
  • Ability to manage projects independently with creativity.
  • Proven success in navigating complex issues through analytical problem-solving.
  • Experience in collaborative work environments.
  • Relevant ServiceNow certifications in aligned workflows.
