About the Job:
Fortinet is seeking an experienced Inside Systems Engineer to work closely with our Sales and SE teams in France. This role requires strong technical expertise to support sales efforts and provide post-sales training to customers.
Salary:
The estimated annual salary for this position is €70,000 - €90,000, depending on experience.
Job Responsibilities:
- Pre-sales: Assist in qualifying sales leads from a technical standpoint.
- Sales calls: Be the main technical resource on sales calls and educate customers on various aspects of our solutions.
- Conversant with networking applications and solutions.
- Provide assistance to identified customers with post-sales training.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience in technical/pre-sales support as a sales or systems engineer
- Knowledge of routing, switching, VPN, LAN, WAN, network security, intrusion detection, and antivirus technologies.
- Strong understanding of protocols such as RADIUS, PKI, IKE, certificates, L2TP, IPSEC, firewall, 802.1Q, MD5, SSH, SSL, SHA1, DES, and 3DES.
- Experience with encryption and authentication technologies.
- Excellent telephone manner with good spoken and written English.
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience. A graduate degree is preferred.
