Role Overview: As the Director of Client Development at Qonto, you will spearhead a new division that merges Product Marketing, CRM, and Customer Insights teams to enhance the value of our client portfolio across four European markets (France, Germany, Italy, and Spain).

Reporting directly to our Chief Revenue Officer, Marianne, you will implement innovative strategies aimed at increasing customer activation, engagement, and retention, thereby directly impacting our Net Revenue Retention (NRR) and overall profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Implement Client Development Strategies: Create and execute advanced strategies to drive product adoption, customer activation, retention, and upselling initiatives, ultimately increasing revenue from our existing clientele.
  • Enhance Customer Insights: Formulate effective client segmentation and profiling strategies, tailoring contract terms and legal advice to better address the unique needs of various client groups, thereby improving customer satisfaction and compliance.
  • Optimize CRM Operations: Utilize and expand our robust tech stack to maximize customer lifetime value. Regularly assess and refine our CRM processes to ensure optimal efficiency, scalability, and adaptability to evolving market conditions.
  • Build and Lead the Client Development Team: Coordinate the efforts of our Product Marketing, CRM, and Customer Insights teams, cultivating a culture of collaboration and excellence.
  • Collaborate and Influence: Work closely with Customer Success & Development, Country Directors, and Revenue Operations teams to ensure alignment with business objectives and local market needs. Provide valuable customer feedback and insights to our Product teams to drive product enhancements and innovations that meet changing customer demands.

About You:

  • Proven Experience: Demonstrated success in client development or similar roles within fast-paced environments across multiple regions, with a strong emphasis on customer experience and solution-oriented execution. Experience in B2B SaaS and SMB sectors is advantageous.
  • Analytical Expertise: Strong understanding of marketing, CRM, and data analytics to leverage insights and formulate client development strategies that enhance customer engagement and retention.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional communication abilities to navigate multi-market organizations and effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Leadership Qualities: Proven capability to build trust, inspire teams, and create a positive, high-energy work atmosphere.
