About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Electric Vehicle Price Manager to join our team at AB Volvo. As a key member of our Group Strategic Initiatives team, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing pricing strategies that drive business growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement comprehensive pricing strategies for our electric vehicles and services, ensuring they are competitive and aligned with our revenue and margin goals.
  2. Packaging the total offer, combining hardware (electric vehicles) and services (maintenance, charging infrastructure, software solutions) into cohesive and compelling value propositions.
  3. Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform pricing decisions and ensure our offerings meet market demands.
  4. Monitor and analyze pricing performance, making adjustments as needed to maximize profitability and market share.
  5. Collaborate with sales, marketing, finance, and product development teams to integrate pricing strategies across the business.
  6. Develop and maintain pricing models and tools to support sales teams in their negotiations and customer interactions.
  7. Provide pricing insights and recommendations to senior management based on data analysis and market trends.
  8. Ensure compliance with pricing policies and guidelines.
  9. Train and support sales teams on pricing strategies and tactics.
  10. Continuously review and refine pricing processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  11. Actively listen to customers and give feedback to constantly adapt/improve pricing strategies to meet customer needs and market conditions.
Requirements
  1. Minimum 5 years of experience in pricing strategy development and implementation, ideally within the automotive, logistics, or technology sectors.
  2. Proficiency in pricing tools and software, and strong Excel skills.
  3. Creative and customer-obsessed
  4. Background in E-mobility & strong sustainability commitment is a plus.
  5. Act as a real team player with an ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced startup environment.
  6. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable pricing strategies.
  7. Expertise in market research and competitive analysis.
  8. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey pricing strategies and rationale to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  9. Fluent in English; other languages are nice to have.
