Job Description:
We are currently in search of a Packaging Team Leader (M/F) for a permanent position within our clients' operations in the poultry industry.
In this role, you will manage a team of 50 individuals within a production workshop, reporting directly to the Workshop Manager. Your primary responsibility will be to coordinate and oversee production activities, ensuring compliance with established guidelines and objectives.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Strategically planning, organizing, monitoring, and controlling production lines, utilizing available human and material resources while adhering to provided instructions.
- Ensuring compliance with production standards, including productivity, efficiency, hygiene, quality, safety, and basic maintenance.
- Actively participating in the development and execution of continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborating with relevant departments (such as scheduling and maintenance) to address production challenges and collectively identify solutions.
As a frontline manager, you will lead your team by:
- Promoting effective communication through established practices.
- Facilitating employee development through training and onboarding initiatives.
- Enhancing team dynamics to improve working conditions and employee relations.
- Ensuring strict adherence to operational guidelines and procedures.
Schedule:
Rotating shifts (6:00 am - 1:00 pm / 1:00 pm - 9:00 pm)
Compensation:
Competitive salary based on qualifications (13-month salary) + Profit sharing + Retirement savings plan
Profile Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess a degree in food processing, production management, or equivalent professional experience. Previous experience in team leadership within an industrial environment is essential. A hands-on approach and close collaboration with teams are crucial for success in this role.
